Ultimaker 3D printers are known for their quality, reliability, and extensive material support. Ultimaker’s products serve many multinational companies across various industries, including Tesla, Airbus, and Apple. Ultimaker collaborated with FPI on the Material Station and the Air Manager. Together with the flagship Ultimaker S5 printer, these additions enable fully automated material swapping and provide humidity control and air filtration. This enhances flexibility, ensures consistent quality, and increases production capacity.

Prior to the start of injection molding production, a significant portion of the work had already been completed: A dedicated team from FPI was involved throughout the development phase. In addition to offering technical solutions, the parts were optimized for production. Well-designed products lead to a stable production process, ensuring consistent quality.

The Material Station and the Air Manager have been successfully launched to the market. To create a product that ensures high quality and reliability, the production process must meet the same standards.

Throughout production, the quality of the injection-molded parts is checked and documented multiple times according to ISO quality systems. Deviations from the standards are detected and addressed early. This structured approach allows us to guarantee that products are delivered to the agreed quality.
